Handspun cotton, two panels and kabakil fringes and borders. Exhibited in Cologne, Indonesische Textilien, Wege zu Göttern und Ahnen, Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum für Völkerkunde, 1984-85. This cloth has a perfect composition of Chinese, Arab, Indian, Indonesian and Dutch iconography
Possibly a powerful royal textile, an honouring of queen Wilhelmina or Juliana of the Netherlands is suggested in S.Fraser-Lu, Handwoven Textiles of South East Asia 1988 p. 197
