Provenance, ex collection Max Lapre, he was a Dutch civil servant in Agats. In the book 'Mein Vater der Kannibale', Sten Bergman, Published by F. A. Brockhaus, Wiesbaden, 1961 tafel 22 is a photograph of him holding various Asmat skulls in his hand.
