A fine collection of four stone boad shaped axe heads, Middle European, Early - Middle Bronze Age, ca. 2000 BC;
one with a tapering end decoration, one with groves at one side and two with chips.
L. 12,5 - 12,8 - 16,5 and 11,5 cm.
Provenance: Collection Carl Gumpert (1878-1955) an Archeologist from Munich, Germany. Ex collection of one of his students, Peter Sessler. Collected in the area of Ansbach ca. 1920's - 1970's. Inherited by descent.
