of oval shape and fitted with two containers, the cover with gold hiramakie and togisdashi makie with a phoenix among leaves on a black ground sprinkled with aogai, the interior with reeds in hiramakie on a nashiji ground, the base with circular aperture (wear to lacquer and to inlays)
