each decorated in various shades of blue with a pair of pheasants perched on rockwork amidst large peony and chrysanthemum blooms, bordered by cartouches of Buddha's hand fruit and pomegranate on a dense composite scroll, cell-pattern and flower-head ground (one with a small firing crack to the rim resulting in a faint hairline visible to the reverse)
