Aurora, founded in 1919 in Turin, was the first Italian fountain pen factory.

The name, chosen immediately after the First World War, reflected the hope for a better future and a new beginning for handwriting in Italy (“aurora” is Italian for “dawn”). Aurora pens are conceived as authentic hand-crafted jewels. Today, as in the past, they embody fine craftsmanship combined with technology and the use of precious materials, always with an eye to changes in taste and fashion, borne out by Aurora’s ongoing partnerships with internationally acclaimed designers.
