A 19th century mourning pendant.

One side with a piece of hairwork depicting a grave monument with the name Jacques, below a weeping willow, on a sepia drawing. The other side with a bouquet of pansies and roses, held together by a split pearl. The bezel stamped with Dutch domestic hallmark for 18 k., the bail stamped with Dutch import mark for 14 k. and maker's mark Cornelis Negevinger, Amsterdam, 1827-1839
