Holland, Frisian staartklok, 'kortstaart' with mechanism, 18th century;
Movement with verge escapement in combination with pendulum, weight driven. Polychrome painted dial with automatom of rocking ships in front of a harbour scene. Brass pieced hands, alarm mechanism. Oak case with arched top with figure of Atlas and one (of two) victories. Complete with pendulum and weights.
