Made by 'Fabr. Hoeker en Zoon' under supervison of L.W. van Kooten, based on a design by Bert Nienhuis. With green enameled lotus shaped decorations, set in the centre with a cabochon cut opal. A similar brooch with grey enamel and a blue sapphire can be found in the collection of the Rijksmuseum with object number BK-1980-67 and the same one in the collection of the 'Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt' (see picture). No maker's mark present.
