Nord West Alor, village: Baranusa, 19th century, woman’s sarong. The man’s cloth a beti mabuna with fine Ikat design in dark brown, creme and green. In two parts, fringes. The sarong being a keng, handspun, wool and silk, fragile. Two broad stripes of Manta motive. Similar in Lit.: H. Leigh, Theisen, Textilien in Indonesien, Wien, 1995, p. 165, i. 148.
