Two chaise longues or 'recamiers' in the style of Jean-Joseph Chapuis from the same property as the previous lot. The frame black painted with parcel-gilt decoration, 19th century.

One with a woven cane seat, the other with a yellow velvet loose cushion.

(Possibly) acquired by Mr Allard Pierson (1831-1896) and his wife Pauline Hermine Elisabeth Pierson-Gildemeester (1831-1900), Utrecht / Zutphen, circa 1850s. By descent to their daughter Mrs. Lina Eudia de Ridder-Pierson (1859-1951) and her husband Mr. Willem de Ridder (1854-1931) living at the estate Kernhem, Ede, The Netherlands. Thence by descent from the above to her niece Mrs Henriette Waller-Pierson (1882-1974), Lunteren, thence by the descent to the present owner.
