in a squatting posture, disproportionate large head with hollowed circular eyes, small and flat triangular nose, reversed ears, free carved arms and legs in a continuous configuration in front of an elementary torso with spine. On the back is written 'Tanil Tana' and on the bottom partly written in white A 2.. The bottom partly cut.

Provenance: Acquired during the KNAG (Royal Dutch Geographical Society) expedition to the Kai Islands 1889-1890. Bestowed to the N.K.V. (Dutch Colonial Society). Published: C.M.
